The giants
Master of the Bauhaus stage workshop from 1923 to 1929, Schlemmer turned the human body into moving geometry — cones, spheres and spirals dancing in space. He also drew the school's famous profile emblem, the face every design lover recognises today.
The great designer of the metal workshop — and its head from 1928, a first for a woman at the school. Her hemisphere teapots and Kandem lamps turned industrial geometry into everyday objects, and remain design icons a century on.
He arrived as a student and left as a master — running the glass workshop and teaching the legendary preliminary course until 1933. His life's work asks one question: what do colours do to each other when they meet?
Beloved master from 1921 to 1931, Klee taught form and colour the way musicians teach harmony — rhythm, counterpoint, tone. His notebooks became the Pedagogical Sketchbook, still read by designers everywhere.
Student first, then master of print and advertising from 1925 to 1928. Typography, exhibitions, kiosks, even emergency banknotes — Bayer gave the Bauhaus its graphic voice and designed a lowercase alphabet for a whole new era.
Master from 1922 until the school's final days, Kandinsky taught the wall-painting workshop and pure theory: point, line, plane — art as inner sound. His circles remain the clearest voice of spiritual geometry.

Claudia discovered the Bauhaus while studying design at the University of Valencia — and never let go. What began as fascination with the school's geometry became a mission: rescuing forgotten visual treasures from the 1919–1933 archives and giving them a second life.
